Likening their position in the market to a sleeping gorilla in the jungle (a leader lying dormant) the client’s brief stated ‘We’re not just going to wake up the gorilla, we want to rattle the bars and hear him roar!’
Sane Event Group led the project and engaged the services of AV1 from the initial planning stages. The gorilla idea quickly grew into a jungle concept and after much consultation with the client, the final branding phrase ‘Time to Roar’ was decided upon.
With the goal of revitalising, motivating and engaging the audience, audio-visual technology played an important role in setting the scene and creating the atmosphere. Regular consultation allowed the team at AV1 to understand the key messages and create an effective communications solution within a limited budget.
Using our 3D design service, we produced photorealistic visualisations of possible set designs. The final result – a widescreen projection onto a hard white set, enhanced with live greenery and custom designed content – created an energetic, jungle-like environment.
In fact, it’s almost impossible to distinguish the 3D design from the actual event. Take a look at the photos above!
The technical production of this event involved a high definition projection blend using Folsom Encore, our L’Acoustics high-end audio system, intelligent lighting and customised jungle-inspired musical stings. After an intensive full day set up, the AV was managed by a technical director, vision operator, audio operator and lighting operator. Although only an operating team of four, our skilled technicians worked effectively to create the energetic and theatrical environment required to reveal the new branding campaign.
The shackles were thrown off and the gorilla was certainly awoken. The event cultivated a sense of urgency and the sales and marketing team came away feeling valued, refreshed and inspired.Return to Top
