Our core team:

Keith Wootton [Managing Director]

Keith started AV1 in 2004, having spent over ten years in Australian events industry and three years in Irish music industry working with international touring acts.

Keith has been heavily involved in the Australian meetings and events industry, spending four years on the MEA NSW Branch Committee, two of them as Branch Chair. Keith is still an active MEA member, speaking regularly at professional development sessions – all about AV.

Whenever Keith’s not in the office, he likes going to see live music gigs, trying not to miss the music, while he stares into the roof counting lights and speakers…

Kealan Coleman [Production Manager]

Kealan has been working in the events & entertainment industry for over ten years. Starting out as a performing musician in Ireland, he very quickly found himself working as a live sound engineer, stage manager and production manager on festivals, concerts and events. Kealan joined AV1 in November 2005, as a Production Manager.

Kealan is also a keen industry contributor. He made his debut in 2006 as a presenter at the MEA NSW Student Insight event, where he spoke about his career in AV. He is also on the MEA NSW PD Committee.

Kealan specialises in producing roadshows. Whenever he’s not in an airport or a ballroom, he can be found in the lobby bar, with his guitar, entertaining the travelling crew!

Rob King [Production Manager]

Rob started his career in hospitality and found that he had a knack for the technical stuff. Having spent eight years working in Sydney and the UK, managing inhouse AV and touring roadshows around Europe, Rob joined AV1 in mid 2007 to take care of the Museum of Contemporary Art and its customers.

Rob is very well known around the Sydney events industry and attends a lot of MEA (social) events.

When Rob’s not at one of our venues re-arranging the tables, he is out playing sports and improving his English tan in his sports car!

Keith Findlay [Production Manager]

Keith started in the AV Industry in 1995 as a very keen technician in the good company of Keith Wootton. He moved into production management soon after and ultimately focused on large scale creative events. In mid 2003 Keith took a break from AV to persue his passion for music. He bought Jolly Rogers, Australia's oldest independent music store. At the same time he owned a music studio providing rehearsal and tuition, along with artist promotion and development.

After selling Jolly Rogers Keith joined the AV1 team in 2008 and concentrates on roadshows and local events.

When Keith's not at work or playing in his band you will find him at a gig or a gallery somewhere, and in fair weather having a lazy surf.

Luke Fosbury [Production Manager]

Luke began is career in audiovisual production and events in England, but moved to Australia and joined the AV1 team in 2010. Wanting a change of scenery, Luke certainly succeeded – Luke takes care of the Museum of Contemporary Art which gives him a commanding view of Sydney Harbour every day!

Luke came to us with a wealth of experience having previously been the Event Technology Manager at The Dorchester Hotel in London. Working in such a reputable hotel meant that Luke had the opportunity to produce some very high profile events working alongside many celebrities, royals and billionaires.

Being in Sydney, Luke is loving the beach lifestyle and is determined to master the art of surfing!

Nathan Murray [Manager - Technology & Logistics]

Nathan takes care of all of the equipment at AV1 to ensure that it is always in perfect working order. With his amazing attention to detail, Nathan ensures that everything is prepared at the warehouse so that time can be saved setting up when we arrive at an event. He is a master of logistics, ensuring the most efficient transitions of inventory from event to event. Oh and he also play bass...for Kid Confucius.....check them out in the iTunes store.

Charlotte Moscrop [Operations Manager]

Charlotte has just returned from New York having spent the last few years establishing a new events company. Longing to return home she has joined AV1 as Operations Manager, bringing with her a wealth of talent and experience.

When not at work Charlotte loves to spend her time over long champagne lunches…

Hannah Watkins [Operations Co-ordinator]

Hannah joined AV1 in 2008 having completed studies in events. Whilst studying, Hannah volunteered for many local productions including youth, school and church events. Hannah takes care of all of the crewing and logistics at AV1, ensuring that deliveries, set ups and and pack downs run to time.

Having grown up on the Gold Coast she still has a strong love for the beach. Whenever she’s not at work that’s where you’ll find her!
