The internationally respected and locally-loved museum is dedicated to collecting and exhibiting the work of contemporary artists from Australia and throughout the world. A dynamic program of exhibitions and events invites visitors to engage with artists and their ideas through artist talks, live performances, lectures, workshops and youth programs.

The Museum operates a thriving venue hire operation with three spectacular venues including the prestigious MCA Foundation Hall which features seven-metre high ceilings and opens onto a spectacular harbourside terrace. All of the MCA venues offer commanding views of Sydney Harbour, the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House.
